Punjab News: Recovery, Wedding, and Heat

The Reach the Nations team in Punjab experienced some difficulties with the rickshaw accident a few weeks ago. Those who were injured have recovered and are again actively involved in ministry to various churches.

Also, we rejoice with Irfan and his recent marriage. His wife's name is Amroze Irfan. Please pray that God will bless this couple as the grow in their marriage and serve God together.

The ministry continues in spite of the fact that the weather is, once again, very hot and, as a result, some are getting sick and some even have been hospitalized including Mehboob's two sons, Gabriel and Michael. They are doing better now.

The team continues to hold services for worship, teaching, and prayer, but it is more difficult for people to come because of the heat.

They are also consistently sharing the simple Gospel message of God's love and his offer of forgiveness and reconciliation through Jesus. Mehboob says there are more than 20 new believers ready to be baptized, so they will be holding a baptismal service soon.

Mehboob reports that they are teaching from the Gospel of Mark in all of areas and people have commented that they are happy to be focused on one Gospel and going through it a little at a time.

The RTN teams in both Punjab and Sindh are continuing their online studies together through the book of Mark as well. So those who are teaching have fresh studies to draw from as they share the Word in their churches.

Mehboob says this about the literacy class being taught by Rehana: "Our class also is going very well and Sister Rehana is giving time to the class although she had been injured badly. But, thank God, she is healed and doing her work faithfully".
