Covid Pauses: Meetings Resume
Mehboob reports a reduction in Covid-19 in the area of Punjab in which he and his team minister. Because of that, they have been able resume visits to the villages for teaching and prayer.
There are some villages they visit weekly and others bi-weekly. In some cases they meet in a gathering area and, in others, they simply go door-to-door visiting with individual families.
Mehboob says, “People are very happy and thankful we are starting prayer meetings again. They are thankful to God for their new life after the period of coronavirus.”
He continues, “We are sharing the Word of God with them in order to give them hope and to increase their faith.”
This is a prayer meeting in Daska where Adnan preached a message of hope from 1 Peter 5:6, “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you. . . “
The following pictures are from Bajle Mohallah, an area Mehboob, Adnan, and Irfan visit regularly. For many weeks, it had been in a coronavirus Red Zone, but has now been reopened to normalized activity.
In Bajle Mohallah , the men shared the truth of Jesus Christ, who was crucified to save the world, concluding with the challenge, “We need to come to Christ and accept him as our personal Savior.”
Thank you for your continuing prayers for Pakistan that many who come to hear the Word will also come to know Jesus as Savior and then will grow in their faith.
