A Model for Missions

From its inception, Reach the Nations has been implementing a model for missions that includes evangelism, but doesn't stop there. The end goal is to make disciples as Jesus directed just before he ascended to Heaven.

That is why we spend time helping our Pakistan team get good training in the Bible and in leadership. They are not only inviting people into the Kingdom of God, but are teaching them to live as people of the Kingdom.

And the ministry is being done Pakistani-to-Pakistani. Financial support, overall direction, and biblical training come through the U.S., but the ministry itself is implemented and led by Pakistanis. The RTN team is made up of young men committed to reaching their fellow citizens with the life-changing truth of the Gospel.

A recent article in Christianity Today discusses that model and we thought you might be interested in reading it as well. It's titled, "We Went, but Did We Make Disciples?":

Thank you for your continued support of Reach the Nations with your financial gifts, your volunteered time, and your many prayers.

“Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come,

your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

- Matthew 6:9b-10
