Upholding Human Rights

Manzoor Masih, serves on the Reach the Nations leadership team and resides in Islamabad. He also serves his government as a member of the National Commission on Human Rights (NCHR).

In that capacity, he recently participated in the first meeting of the Inter-Provincial Working Group on Women's Marriage Rights. The meeting, organized by the NCHR, was held in Islamabad and was attended by parliamentarians, government officers, judges, and other officials. Manzoor is shown in the photo below seated second from the left.

This next picture is of all of the official attendees at this conference. Manzoor is fifth from the left on the front row.

The picture below shows Manzoor serving on a four-person panel at a meeting regarding the Sikh Community Marriage Act where they discussed amendments to the Act and other issues related to religious minorities in Pakistan. The meeting was held at Quaid-I-Azam University in Islamabad.

This work is vital in helping to improve and uphold the rights of minorities including, among others, Christians and women.

We at RTN are thankful for Manzoor's faithfulness and persistence in working for human rights in his country. Please pray for him and those who labor with him in this important work.

"Blessed are those who act justly, who always do what is right." - Psalm 106:3
