Report from Pakistan
Gary Finkbeiner and Peter Negron report that God's leading was evident in the many meetings they had while ministering in Pakistan these past weeks.
Both Gary and Peter preached at several churches in the greater Islamabad area. One of those was Living Branch Church where Gary spoke to a crowd of nearly 700 people and has an ongoing invitation to preach and teach God's Word whenever he can be in the Rawalpindi area.
Both Gary and Peter taught students at Living Branch Bible College, affiliated with Living Branch Church, and at the Great Commission Institute, a cooperative effort of several Pakistani denominations.
Both had an opportunity to minister at a gathering at St. Thomas Church of 300 pastors and wives of the United Christian Fellowship and, as we have already reported to have a full day of meetings with RTN evangelists and church planters: Manzoor, Shakeel, Mehboob, Adnon, and Irfan.
The challenge before us, Gary says, is not only preaching and teaching the Word of God, but helping people translate that teaching into day-to-day life.
Pray for the Reach the Nations team ministering day by day in various regions of Pakistan and for the U.S. team as they begin to make plans for an October/November return trip.
