Learning to Love the Bible

How does a pastor encourage children and teens to read and study their Bible? Make it a game!

Shakeel has developed a Bible quiz format that engages the entire church in Kotri. Sunday School kids sit together in front of the meeting place. They are then asked questions that have been submitted by members of the congregation.

If the students knows the answer, he or she raises his hand. The first child to raise his or her hand gets called on to answer the question.

It's the kind of game that everyone wins. The kids are learning to study the Bible. The adults enjoy watching their children compete and answer.

We are thankful Shakeel and his team know the immense value of getting the Bible into the hearts of children so they can carry a love of learning God's Word with them for the rest of their lives.

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." - 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Sindh Summary

We received a great summary report from Shakeel about ministry activity in Sindh villages from August through November.

In the picture above, you will see that Shahzaib has joined him for ministry in Kotri.

Shakeel's teaching in these months included sermons about repentance, blessings, love of God, faith and generosity.

We are excited to report that both he and Rustam have had several baptisms in these months.

God is drawing Hindus to himself and they are boldly giving public testimony to his grace in their lives.

Please keep Shakeel, Shahzaib,and Rustam in your prayers as they faithfully preach and teach truths from God's Word and as they train others to become disciples of Jesus.
