Praying for One Another
One of the ways the Reach the Nations teams minister to people is by praying for them. Many of those who attend services are living in poverty and far from adequate medical care. So, when a family member is injured or sick, they turn to their pastors and teachers to ask for prayer. Through this, they are examples to all of us as we learn to depend on God to provide what we need. The picture above is of a church service (our rooftop church) that meets in Daska. Mehboob reports

Let's visit a Sunday morning service in Dhamokay!
Come on in! Let's start with the worship service. Take a seat in a chair or on the floor with the brothers and sisters already gathered at the church to sing, and pray, and to be taught and challenged to live lives committed to Jesus and His ways. It might be a little crowded, but in Pakistan, there's always room for one more. The pastor of the church is Mehboob who says, "We thank God for the wonderful work He is doing in the Dhamokay Church. Many people are coming together

Why teach reading? Here are 49 reasons why.
Think about how many times a day you read something: Texts, social media posts, emails, books, news articles, billboards, nutritional labels, directional signs on the street. We are reading constantly without giving it a thought. Imagine what your life would be like if you did not know how to read. Pastor Babar addresses the graduating class. RTN members participate via the internet. A few years ago Reach the Nations became aware of the statistics for literacy in Pakistan. Th

Growing in the Faith
Khairpur Reach the Nations has had a church established in Khairpur for a number of years now. The leased building there serves as a central point for teaching and preaching. Going out from this center, Shakeel and Rustam reach into the villages around Khairpur, and the Gospel is reaching more and more people. Shakeel and Rustam speak of challenges in these areas including forced conversion to the majority religion and arranged marriages with very young girls. Shakeel has ask

And they are continuing the work in the churches where they preach the Word, worship God, and encourage people to grow in their faith. Here is the report in Mehboob's own words: "Praise the Lord! We visited the Proppi Nagra area for evangelism. We went door to d

Learning to Read and Write
There are many (especially women) in Pakistan who are not given the opportunity to learn to read and write. Reach the Nations has tried to address this need by establishing three literacy locations in Islamabad and one in the Sialkot area. We want to give you a brief pictorial report on each area. Sister Zarish had the first class in Islamabad in 2022 and has been teaching since then. She also has helped to establish two other sites in Islamabad. These first pictures are from
