Following up on our recent post about the graduation of literacy students in Daska, we want to share this message just received from Sister Rehana, the teacher of that class.

"Greetings and blessings to you in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope you are doing well by the grace of our Lord."

And then she told us this about the student pictured at the graduation ceremony above:

"I would also like to share a very special testimony from one of our students. He told me that for many years he had been thinking and praying that perhaps one day he would be able to read the Bible by himself. He said that this dream has now come true because of the Adult Education class. He was so happy and thankful, and he has already started reading his Bible during our Bible class, as you encouraged us to begin Bible classes with the students.

I believe this is a beautiful testimony of how God is working through the Adult Education class. I am truly thankful to the entire RTN team for being a part of this blessing and for helping make this possible."

And, then she speaks for the entire class after the recent graduation ceremony and celebration:

"First of all, I would like to sincerely thank you for all your love, prayers, efforts, and support throughout the entire Adult Education program. I am very happy, and the students are also extremely happy and grateful for the opportunity to receive this education, successfully complete their course, receive their certificates, and receive their Urdu Bibles.

"Secondly, I want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to celebrate this graduation ceremony in such a beautiful and memorable way. The students were very happy, and everyone who attended the ceremony enjoyed and celebrated this special day with them. I truly believe that this was a great blessing for all of us, and it was made possible because of your love, generosity, and support. I would also like to sincerely thank Pastor Mehboob and Irfan for their valuable support throughout the Adult Education program.

"I am also happy to share that we have now started the Bible class where the students can continue learning and practicing how to read the Bible. In addition, I have found a new place where we can start another Adult Education class in the Daska area. I am thankful for this new opportunity to continue serving and reaching more people through this ministry

"Thank you once again for believing in this ministry and for helping us make a difference in the lives of these students. Their joy and their ability to read God’s Word for themselves are a beautiful testimony of what God can do through faithful partnership and service."

We thought it was important to share this message with all of you who support Reach the Nations and, particularly, the literacy program - whether it is by your donations or your prayers. God is blessing and lives are being changed. Please joins with us in telling Him thank you!

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever - 1 Chronicles 16:34

Note: Rehana's message was shortened and slightly edited for clarity.
