Teaching, discussion, praying, studying, sharing, and fellowship - all part of the Reach the Nations ministry conference going on in Islamabad right now.

Pastors Gary Finkbeiner from Michigan and Peter Negron from Illinois arrived in Pakistan last week and have ministered with Manzoor Masih and Rashid Manzoor for several days. On Monday, the RTN pastoral teams from the Hyderabad area of Sindh and the Sialkot area of Punjab arrived and on Tuesday the conference began.

Brothers Gary and Peter are the primary teachers, supported by Brother Shakeel, teaching on Vision and Development and Brother Irfan leading the closing devotional.

Gary's teaching sessions include such topics as Intercessory Prayer, Water Baptism, A Mission for Generations, and the Work of the Holy Spirit.

Peter is teaching a series of lessons titled The Leader's Soul: A Heart Aflame for God.

Teaching, sharing, and fellowship - all important parts of this conference!

Here are some specific things we ask you to pray about as these meetings end on Thursday:

  • That the men would encourage each other in their various ministries and in their personal walks with God.

  • That they would leave with renewed energy for the hard work of ministering to small and developing congregations.

  • That the teaching would touch their minds and their souls helping them to be stronger in their faith and to teach and preach with greater confidence and effectiveness.

  • That God would be glorified in every discussion and in their various ministries.

  • That they and their families would be protected physically, relationally, and spiritually.

  • That all participants will return homes with hearts aflame for God.

"And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:11-13
