Building Relationships

Shakeel reports revisiting a village where he distributed Samaritan's Purse shoeboxes three months ago and shared about the work of RTN Ministries. He is using these visits to begin to build relationships with the villagers in order to establish a work of evangelism and discipleship there.

He says, "This time we were able to share the Gospel with them. They were happy to see us again, specially the children. We believe God will change their lives with His Word."

The parents in this area are concerned about educating their children and have requested a school. Shakeel says, "We felt that need and desire for their children and did a prayer for that request."

There are 40 children in this village, but some were not there because they had gone to work with their parents in nearby cotton fields.

In the church building in Khairpur, there was also a smaller group of attendees due to harvesting opportunities in fields. From Shakeel: " . . . but it was wonderful meeting with four families attending the service. We worshipped God and shared the Word of God from Matthew 7 where Jesus says, 'Judge not, that you be not judged. With the measure you use, it will be measured back to you'".

Also, work continues on the church building where now the ceilings and the doors are painted. Take a look:

Keep praying for Pakistan and for Shakeel and Rustam as they continue to walk through doors as God opens them. Pray for the Christians to whom they minister that they will be strong in their faith and will grow in their knowledge of God and His Word.

Shakeel
