The coronavirus pandemic is affecting all countries in our world. The virus is frightening, and the closure of businesses which are sources of food, medicines, and supplies is even more frightening for many. Above you see the closed shops in a normally crowded area of Hyderabad.

Those who minister through Reach the Nations in both Punjab and Sindh are presently quarantined by government mandate so are not able to travel to the villages for their normal face-to-face ministry.

They have asked for our prayers for themselves and for the people they serve - that they would be protected from illness and that they would have access to food and medical assistance as needed.

Below you will see a photo of Mehboob with his wife, Maria, and his mother. Both women are health care professionals serving in a hospital in Sialkot, Punjab Province. Mehboob is asking prayers for them as they are on the frontline of the health issues faced by Pakistan in these days.

We are so pleased the the Lifeline medical team continues to offer medical clinics at our building in Khirpur. Shakeel reports that the chairman of Lifeline, a German mission organization, also came to the clinic to observe the work being done. Shakeel had an opportunity to meet with him. He expressed great appreciation to Reach the Nations for providing the place for them to hold this medical clinic. And we are grateful for their faithfulness in helping to meet the health needs of people in villages around Khairpur.

In addition, Shakeel and Rustam provided informational sessions about the coronavirus in two areas of our outreach: Kumb and Korki. He said they distributed soap to the people, children and adults, and gave instructions about effective hand washing.

Then they prayed together because the people are living in fear of this viral threat.

Let us support them in prayer during this time as well.

". . . and a little child shall lead them." - Isaiah 11:6b

Our Pakistani brothers and sisters are serving the world with their prayers. And some of those talking to the Father on our behalf are little children.

Enjoy these pictures from yesterday's National Day of Prayer as you see some of the most underserved people of the world praying for all of us, specifically for healing from the corona virus. These photos were sent by Shakeel who works with children in Hyderabad.

". . .but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” - Matthew 19:14
